Tiaki, meaning to care, safeguard, protect and preserve in te reo Māori, is the New Zealand Pavilion’s restaurant where visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai can taste the outstanding quality of the country’s food and beverage offering.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, there is a special connection to the land and sea.


It is a relationship founded on care, respect and an understanding that when nature thrives, we all thrive.

Our Signature Dishes

Cheese Platter - Kāpiti Kikorangi blue, Kāpiti Pakari smoked cheddar, Kāpiti  Akatea brie, dark chocolate, tamari almonds, honeycomb and crackers
Horopito marinated salmon, seaweed, quail egg, lemon mayo and pickled radish
Whipped Kāpiti Kikorangi blue cheese, roasted beets, blackberries and caramelised walnuts with Comvita Manuka honey dressing
Togarashi seasoned beef carpaccio, heirloom tomatoes, charred gem lettuce, red radish and vinaigrette
Roasted scampi tails, horopito marinated salmon, greenshell mussels with kawakawa, slow cooked venison, togarashi marinated beef tenderloin, whipped Kāpiti Kikorangi blue cheese, Kāpiti Pakari aged cheddar, marinated seaweed salad, beetroot, heirloom tomatoes, asparagus, olives, kawakawa salsa verde and Dijon mustard
Baby gem salad with sous vide chicken, soft boiled egg, white anchovies, parmesan and horopito flavored crispy chicken skin
Seared salmon with togarashi blend, seaweed crumble, cauliflower mash, broccolini, herb and spinach velouté
Fresh fruit carpaccio with Zespri kiwifruit and mango sorbet
Anzac biscuit ice cream sandwich, Comvita Manuka honey ice cream, anglaise sauce and berries

Can I book Tiaki for a large group?

For reservations of 10 guests and above, a deposit of AED 500 is required in order to reserve your group table. This deposit will be deducted from the total bill amount at time of dining.

Our group menu options are below:

  • 1 - 15 guests - a la carte

  • 15 – 30 guests - set menu from Tiaki

  • 30 – 50 guests - set events menu
