Blending together island reggae, soul and jazz with heartfelt lyrics has won Sammy J many fans both Stateside and in New Zealand. The singer/songwriter’s Māori heritage is embraced through his positive and uplifting sounds which truly create feel-good vibes.

He spends time in New Zealand and the US and has just released his sixth album; Cool & Easy – a release he was very conscious about given the global pandemic of Covid-19:

“I know the world is in such a fragile state right now. As easy as it would have been for me to reflect on that, I felt so strongly to consciously create something that would provide a place of refuge, peace, love and happiness. I’m so proud of this album and I pray that you receive it with all the love and good vibes it’s wrapped up in.”
