Multiple award-winning songstress Annie Crummer mesmerises audience with Pacific rhythms at Expo

Renowned singer and songwriter Annie Crummer enthralled audience with Pacific beats and sounds at Expo 2020’s Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre on Tuesday (8 March), belting her popular singles in her magical voice.

The New Zealand singer told fans she was excited to perform in Dubai for the first time, as she took them on a musical journey from Aotearoa to Tahiti and the Polynesian islands. She sang songs from her popular album Shine: The Best of Annie Crummer, delighting audience with her soulful lyrics and songs of love.

Crummer’s musical journey began at a young age, and she released her first single at the age of 16. She has found international success performing as a solo artist as well as part of bands, and has shared the stage with Sting and Michael Jackson. A winner of multiple awards, she was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to music in 2017 and inducted into the New Zealand Hall of Fame in 2021.

Crummer performed two shows at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre as part of New Zealand at Expo 2020’s entertainment and cultural programme.
