That includes being a world leader in heath technology.
For example, the Government realised there are too many people going to hospitals that don’t need to be in hospitals
One particular product that could help address this challenge is a portable medical kiosk, developed by a medical equipment company using New Zealand designed software. The kiosks look like a telephone box and a person can follow instructions in the kiosk to check their blood pressure or their ear for example. The machine will give then give them medical advice or next steps, like to seek further treatment or visit a hospital. This simple intervention could help manage the demand on hospitals.
However a company cannot simply turn up in the UAE and expect to be able to sell to hospitals. To make it in the UAE, you need approval to be able to sell to the Health Authority, and that takes Government approval.
