Book the New Zealand Pavilion Hosting Venues for your event during Expo 2020 Dubai

Take advantage of the world in one place

On 1 October 2021, the United Arab Emirates opened its doors to the international community at Expo 2020 Dubai and you can use New Zealand’s presence at this global event to grow your business.

As the largest event ever staged in the Arab world and the first time a World Expo has taken place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, Expo 2020 Dubai presents a unique opportunity for New Zealand exporters to engage and connect with business representatives from 190 countries and speak to a global audience.

How? You can take advantage of the size, scale, location and convening power of Expo 2020 Dubai for your business needs and objectives by booking the New Zealand Pavilion hosting venues.

Whether you are traveling to Expo 2020 as part of the NZTE Expo Business Leverage Programme or independently, the pavilion has been specifically designed to include hosting venues for New Zealand exporters to use throughout the six-month event.

Two distinct, flexible spaces within the pavilion have been created to give a uniquely New Zealand platform for your events. The spaces have three options in which they can be customised to enable you to extend manaakitanga to your important contacts and achieve your business goals.

The pavilion’s hosting venues can be used for:

· Product launches or demonstrations

· Hosting clients for meetings, lunches or private dinners

· Cocktail receptions

· Food and beverage sampling in the demonstration kitchen

· Multimedia presentations or seminars

· Marketing and social media activations

· Signing ceremonies

There are three configurations of the spaces that can be booked:

The Co-operative Room is the signature hosting venue within the Pavilion. This distinctly New Zealand environment is furnished by leading New Zealand designers and acts as a flexible, private function area that can be used for formal receptions, private dinners or theatre-style presentations. It is a private space that includes a large LED screen and is equipped with a camera for hybrid events.

The Courtyard is an inviting, light-filled space that connects The Co-operative Room to the restaurant, Tiaki. Furnished with comfortable, relaxed seating, a demonstration kitchen and a large bar, The Courtyard is the perfect location for a tasting, an informal meeting or a cocktail event.

The Co-operative Room + The Courtyard will give you the space to hold larger events, launches or demonstrations. Guests can enjoy a majestic view of the New Zealand Pavilion through The Courtyard’s glass rooftop while The Co-operative Room is set up with all standard AV requirements.

To book the pavilion’s hosting venues complete the venue booking enquiry form and a member of the New Zealand at Expo 2020 team will get back to you to assist in planning your event.

In addition to the incredible architecture and immersive pavilion experience that shows Aotearoa New Zealand as a nation of innovators who Care for People and Place, the pavilion also includes a restaurant, Tiaki, where visitors will enjoy high-quality food and beverage products from New Zealand in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Here you can host your key clients and catch up over a meal or a coffee.

Bookings for Tiaki are strongly recommended and can be made online.
